Sažetak
Cutaneous vasculitis can occur as a variable feature of a large number of disorders, including infections. Hepatitis B virus has been recognized as an etiologic factor of a cutaneous vasculitis in only a few adult patients. We describe a 22-month old girl who was admitted to hospital with signs of cutaneous vasculitis. Seven months before admission she underwent a nephrectomy because of the Wilms tumor of the right kidney, durig which she received a blood transfusion. Laboratory studies as well as serologic studies revealed acute hepatitis caused by hepatitis B virus. Histopathological findings supported the diagnosis of immune complexes mediated vasculitis in the ecchimotic skin lesions. The rash resolved spontaneously within 2 weeks, and serum liver enzymes returned to the normal range within 8 weeks of patient's firt presenting symptoms.
