Sažetak
The three-phase autotransformer with tertiary winding is often used in high voltage networks of 400, 220 and 110 kV. The tertiary is loaded as occasion demands, somewhere even for compensation of reactive power. The measures of overload protection are based on information about currents on all autotransformer voltage levels. If the tertiary winding is used for compensation, the common winding can become overloaded although none of the controlled currents exceeds the rated value. The problem is solved by control of the common winding current.
