Sažetak
In this paper a mathematical modelling is used for an analysis of impacts of combustion parameters on pollutant production and combustion process efficiency. Model simulations of heavy fuel oil combustion and formation of the pollutants in the furnace of the steam generator of the 210 MW PP Sisak are done using Fluentä code. The influence of the air excess ratio, fuel droplet size, fuel spray angle, and intensity of the swirl of combustion air on the reduction of CO, NO, soot, SOx and the heat flux released to furnace walls is investigated. Since the existing SO3 formation model does not give reliable results, a new model has been developed.
