Sažetak
This work is a part of the project creating the technological database necessary for improvement of process planning and connection database through SQL server by Internet environment. Here we have elaborated the first phase of selecting tool machines, tools, operations and initial material on the basis of the chosen criteria. We have indicated the problems of selection and the possibility of working out a solution. The general organization of the programming solution implies to the following criteria and their interactions for selecting the technological process: criteria for selection tools and machine tools and initial material etc. The main difficulty in selection procedure of machine tools and tools is the strong dependence between primary process, workpiece size and shape, machine tools, tools, determination of production tolerances, sequencing of operations. The Internet technology gives us the possibility to share our data with many users and give chance to improve the elements of Virtual Manufacturing
