Sažetak
Orthogonal turn milling is used in the production of rotating and curved surfaces. This means that both the workpiece and the tool rotate with perpendicularly set axes. This results in a complex kinematics of the process as a significant feature stipulating a whole series of strict requirements, especially regarding the cutting tools. The cutting tools have to comply with high quality requirements of the machined surface, reduce the possibility of vibrations and meet high-speed machining requirements. This is the topic of the paper.
