Sažetak
The chapter describes the development of forensic archaeology in Croatia in relation to the wars that have affected the Croatian territory from the beginning of the XX century, and the existing legal framework (on the exhumation and identification of war victims). The chapter also addresses the importance and benefits that a better implementation of forensic archeology and anthropology would have on the Croatian medico-legal and forensic setting.
