Sažetak
Since there is no single model of cultural sustainability, our hypothesis is that different concepts of cultural sustainability are intertwined, complementary and not mutually exclusive in reality. Using Dubrovnik, two possible understandings of the role of culture in the sustainable development of this city will be investigated and compared. One group of participants in this study work for recognized cultural institutions and the other group are alternative artists who work outside cultural institutions. Initially, the relationship between the city and memory will be considered through to the ways heritage can be used and the benefits and risks of this relationship.
