Sažetak
Resolution of timing discriminators depends on input pulse signal parameters, timing methods and discriminator characteristics. Timing error should be minimized by combination of optimal filtering against noise and choosing timing discriminator circuits which are not sensitive on pulse amplitude and rise time variation as well as on triggering charge effect. Calculated timing errors due to noise influence showed good agreement with experimental results.
