Sažetak
Cloud computing is not only the buzz phrase at rhe m oment but is a complete transformation of the technology industry. Experience shows that cloud implementation in the education sector, is not only cost-effective in certain situation, but it will foster development (RnD) by improving collaboration between researchers, educators, students etc. This paper provides insight to Cloud Computing and explains how Cloud-Based Collaboration can change the way of working in higher education. Also authors examine what is the level of awareness of higher education institutions in Republic of Croatia with the Cloud Computing and how can it be used in education.
