Sažetak
In this paper, by analysing the folk tradition, available historical data, and archaeological excavations at the location of an emplaced tradition about the Franciscan monastery in the village of Skakava, Bosnia, the author demonstrates how a tradition inscribed or emplaced in a landscape can preserve the knowledge of the local community about a place long after physical remains have been destroyed.
