Sažetak
What you are holding in your hands is a book of original papers from the international and in- terdisciplinary Symposium CroArtScia2011- Symmetry: Art and Science held in Zagreb, 4-7 May, 2011. It has been published in the CroArtScia Conference Proceedings Series as the first volume covering all areas where the interaction between art and science, and their mutual complementariness and synergy are manifested. The publishers of this volume include: Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Museum of Contemporary Art, Ruđer Bošković Institute, Society of Culture and Art Ivan Filipović, and LASERplus d.o.o. The book opens up a new kind of interdisciplinary research, in which these institutions are involved as equal partners of Sciences and Arts. Each article in the book has been reviewed and proofread separately. The reviewers have been selected from among the leading Croatian and international natural, social, and humanistic scientists.
