Sažetak
Previous research has strongly emphasized the issue of financial impact of the ERP implementation, with practically each vendor trying to produce arguments in favor of its ERP offering. In this paper, we test the hypothesis on the existence of the lack of significant differences among indicators of financial and logistics performance for the groups of Croatian Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) users, sourcing their ERP systems from different vendors. In addition, we continue the previous research on the association between logistics and financial performance for ERP users. Both analyses are performed by using the most recent (2011-2013) performance data, obtained from the Financial Agency (FINA) of Croatia and the commercial providers of financial data. The obtained empirical results are discussed in the context of previous studies, related both to the (specific) effects of ERP implementation, and the (general) effectiveness of Information Technology (IT) investments. Specific recommendations for organizations, considering the introduction of an ERP system, are also identified.
