Sažetak
Sustainable urban mobility represents a challenge and complex task for the organization of life in urban areas. The growth of living standard in modern EU cities significantly affects the increase in the number of business and private travel. Intelligent transport systems (ITS) represent an innovative approach and ways of solving problems of mobility in the 21st century. Moreover, ITS offers concrete solutions to the growing demands of the mobility in order to increase the efficiency and safety of the transport system in urban areas. One of the preconditions for the application of modern ICT technologies in achieving sustainable urban mobility is to enable open access of traffic and travel data. The paper presents the concept of open access to transport and travel information for multimodal journey planner. Also, the paper identified barriers to open access to transport and travel information such as insufficient accessibility of multimodal travel and traffic data, lack of interoperable data formats and data exchange protocols, lack of interoperable data formats and data exchange protocols and cooperation between stakeholders. Some guidance for provision of open multimodal data set is given in the paper.
