Sažetak
In this paper author gave review about development of Egyptological research in Croatia which started in 1862. Even thru Egyptology was never one of the major fields of ancient history in Croatia there are several main researchers (Š. Ljubić, G. Manojlović, G. Novak, P. Lisičar, P. Selem, I. Uranić, M. Tomorad), and almost two hundred scientific works written by other archaeologist and historians in the last 150 years. All works covers various aspects of Egyptian history, culture, religion and artifacts which are preserved in Croatian institutional and private collections. Authors review is based on his own research of Croatian historiography which started at the end of the last decade of 20th century and continued until today.
