Sažetak
The main goal of room acoustical treatment is a realistic reproduction of recorded material without the negative influence of room on the resulting sound image. In this work the acoustic parameters of small recording studio and control room were improved by using some basic acoustic elements. The impulse responses have been measured before and after acoustic treatment and also compared with modeling results obtained by using EASE acoustic modeling software. The biggest problem in the recording studio was a very low reverberation time which was increased by reducing and evenly distributing available absorption material in the room. The main problem in the control room was too large reverberation time and unequalized pressure magnitude frequency response at lower frequencies which was balanced by placing the carpet on the floor, acoustic foam on top of the first reflection points, bass traps in the front corners of the room and by performing a speaker calibration. The additional objective acoustic parameters like clarity of speech and music, definition and symmetry of impulse responses on the left and right channels of artificial head have been also considered in this work
