Sažetak
Evaluation of different aspects of organizational processes relies on implementation and use of performance measurement and performance metrics. In the past two decades development of performance measurement systems and methods became important organizational task. Key performance indicators represent the measurement of values, data and information relevant to the organization and organizational divisions. Success of logistics operation greatly relies on correct definition and implementation of right key performance indicators and development of improvement strategies. Paper elaborates key performance indicators within the cement business logistics related to the final product delivery. Efficient logistic service combines the optimal delivery time and minimal transport cost which needs to be monitored and controlled on regular basis. The principal aim of this research paper is presentation of one approach in measuring logistics performance of cement deliveries to terminals.
