Sažetak
Procedures for generating low concentrations of nitrate radicals avoiding presence of ozone and determination of nitrate radical concentrations in air and other gas mixtures by absorption measurement are described. The nitrate radical concentration in the absence of ozone is needed for gas phase kinetics studies of reactions with unsaturated compounds where reaction products with ozone would complicate the reaction scheme and mechanism.
