Sažetak
The history of Ancient Egypt has been thoroughly studied in Southeastern Europe since the 19th century. However, there is a shortage of linguistic papers in this region, compared to the vast number of historical and archaeological studies available in these topics. This paper presents a number of grammatical, lexicographic and linguistic studies of Egyptian language. The goal is to: highlight the imperative of exact language classification and transcription, which is an important part of not only academic writing and research, but of language teaching as well, and to give further implications of existing works along with the future plans and projects.
