Sažetak
The paper discusses the problem of information education in constructing a knowledge-based society in Croatia . The basic objective of this paper is focused on the systematic understanding and analyzing the situation and tendency of development of information education , and are , on this basis, the proposed concepts and models for IT education in Croatia . Accordingly, the set tasks are fully realized . Application of ICT and education has brought a new dimension and has opened new possibilities of distance education via the Internet and using computers , but not limited to time or spatial character . Such education today called electronic education , which is the trend in society . Have electronic education , incorporated in the education systems of different levels - from undergraduate, graduate and education after university , and especially education for life - the assumptions of modern education and the requirements of the Bologna process .
