Sažetak
The concept of polifunctional and floating energy island is conceived as a set of floating objects at a sufficient distance from the coast and islands. Objects are floating wind turbines (offshore) and possible other renewable energy sources, buoys for mooring boats, farms, etc. The island is designed for the simultaneous production of energy, food and various services using the same infrastructure. The backbone of the object to form an offshore floating wind turbine type, anchored to the seabed. These wind turbines are suitable for sea at great depths in remote locations of the coast and islands. Their setup with a breakwater establishes a calmed sea in the center of the object that is an artificial bay. On the inner peripheral areas of the bay would be set up moorings for boats of various sizes. Mooring would be related to the underwater foundations of the wind turbines. The moorings would be tied ships, large yachts during the winter, special objects, those who rarely or occasionally used, and all other marine facilities for mooring, which is set along the coast. The goal of the facility is that several different activities using the synergy effect to create a viable and profitable investment. At the same time achieve relief coast and islands of various requirements, environmental conservation and better use of marine resources.
