Sažetak
Many highly-skilled educated people from South East Europe moved to Brussels, especially after the EU enlargements of 2004, 2007 and 2013. The integration of these highly-skilled newcomers has been strongly influenced by the multicultural, cosmopolitan and multilingual character of the host society. To what extent are their prospects of integration and their experience of solidarity affected by the effects of EU membership (Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania versus Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania)? How are the chances for recognition distributed between them? What are the main problems and the most promising solutions?
