Sažetak
In the begining Web pages were focused on text and static graphic. In HTML applications the interactivity is limited in relation to applications created by means of multimedia authoring tools. The only standard interactive mechanisms available in HTML are hyperlinks, fill- out forms and clickable imagemaps. These HTML-based facilities have been enhanced allowing full interaction with JavaScript programs in Netscape, ActiveX and VBScript in MS Internet Explorer and with Java applets. Besides these approaches that consider advanced programming, there are also multimedia appreoaches using, for example, Macromedia Shockwave for Director optimized for multimedia authors with little or no computer programming experience. This paper presents experiences we have gained using Macromedia Shockwave for Director as one of the plug-ins for Netscape Navigator and MS Internet Explorer.
