Sažetak
Distributed generation (DG) is a concept of installing and operating small electricity generators connected directly to the distribution network or at the customer side, with a rated power typically less than 10 MW. DG may have a significant impact on power quality experienced by customers and electricity suppliers. This impact can be either positive or negative, and it depends on the various distribution system characteristics. Photovoltaic power plants belong to a group of renewable-based DG, so it is necessary to estimate the impact of Photovoltaic on distribution power network. The best way to estimate the impact of power plant on power quality of the distribution network is to perform power quality measurements. Measurement of PQ usually involves characterizing low frequency conducted electromagnetic disturbances (including transient overvoltage and transmission of signals). The types of disturbances can be placed in four categories, affecting the magnitude, waveform, frequency and symmetry of the voltage. Disturbances can also be classified according to their permanent, semi-permanent or random nature (lightning, short-circuit, switching operations, etc.).
