Sažetak
A computer programme was developed to facilitate the taxonomic analysis of freshwater invertebrates. A stepwise identification procedure based on the dychotome and multiple key classification was applied. The nominal programme consists of three separate segments, each comprising about 30fc of the computer memory. Since the programme is written in a standard 16k-BASIC and has a low memory requirement, it can be easily used on various types of micro and personal coputers. The application of the computer programme makes identification procedure significantly faster when comparing with the conventional one.
