Sažetak
During the complex ecological investigations of the streams of mountain Papuk, special attention was given to the faunistic, cenological and saprobiological characteristics of the benthic community in order to determine the water quality and the intensity of the an-thropogenic influence. This region has not been thoroughly investigated until now. It is especially interesting for its geological struc¬ture, which has an important influence on the structure and composition of the fauna of these sreams. Investigations were carried out in 1986 and included the streams of Rašaška (station 1), Rogoljica (station 2), Sloboština (station 3), and Šumetlica (stations 4, S and 6).
