Sažetak
Jet propulsion efficiency is considered, and the factors that influence it are identified. The conclusion is reached that jet efficiency depends on the speed-variable total resistance coefficient, provided that all other relevant parameters are constant. This proves, that a widespread opinion about the high efficiency of water jet at high sailing speeds is wrong.
