Sažetak
Comparing the activity of chemotherapeutic agents with that of antibiotics, we may conclude that among antibiotics there are agents more active in vitro against bacterial flora in ozone and sclera than among the tested chemotherapeutics. the great bactericidal effect of acridness on C. diphtheriae, Kl. ozaenae and Kl. rhinoscleromatis, has to be mentioned - an effect which lies within the limits of the effect of the best antibiotics. The combination of various antibiotics with one another, or combined with chemotherapeutic agents, may result in newer and better methods in the treatment of ozaena or scleroma.
