Sažetak
This work provides the analysis of average annual values of heavy metal ion concentration, and of average annual values of total dry residue and suspended solids, as well as of pH values of the wastewater released by the Copper mine in Majdanpek and its influence on the River Veliki Pek in the period 2008-2012. The analysis has shown that particular results in particular intervals of time exceed the allowed upper concentration values which are defined in the legislation of the Republic of Serbia. The final results have been compared to the allowed upper concentration values recomended by the World Health Organization Policy and the European Union Directive 98/83/EC.
