Sažetak
Presentation brings testing of a model of tell formation in the region of West Balkans in context of present researches and hypothesis of their genesis. It presents the state of research of such settlement type on the territory of Croatia with special accent on the region of West Syrmia as a center of the most important Late Neolithic pottery type i.e. Sopot Culture(Sopotska kultura). The interpretation model of formation and distribution of the culture has been given taking into account the most recent absolute dates in the region.
