Sažetak
Der Beitrag thematisiert das sogenannte “Schreibverbot” für Philosophie in Platons Phaidros und die hermeneutische Kontroverse über die Selbstanwendbarkeit dieses speziellen Falls von philosophischer Kultur- und Medienkritik auf Platons geschriebene Philosophie selbst. Es wird versucht, kritische Klärungen und weiterführende Argumente zur Debatte zwischen den Vertretern der historisch-hermeneutisch orientierten Platon- Forschung der sog. Tübinger Schule einerseits, und deren philosophisch-hermeneutischen Gegnern andererseits über die prinzipielle Allge¬mein¬heit und Selbstbe¬züglichkeit der Schriftkritik Platons zu bieten. Die Argumente der jeweiligen Positionen werden auf eine detaillierte Textanalyse von Platons metaphorischen Aussagen hin überprüft und im Schlussteil in einen gegenüber der Tübinger rezeptionstheoretischen Interpretation modifi-zierten, sprachlich-materialistisch erweiterten Zusammenhang einer Zeichentheorie des Denkens bei Platon, Hegel und der historischen Sprachphilosophie hineingebracht.

English Summary: The contribution deals with the so-called prohibition of writing for philosophy in Plato’s dialogue Phaedrus and the related hermeneutical controversy about the self- referrentiality of this particular case of a philosophical critique on culture and media in Plato’s written work itself. The article attempts to give both further going critical explanations and additional arguments to the debate between the representatives of both the historical-hermeneutical Platonic studies of the Tübingen school and their philosophical-hermeneutical opponents concerning the issue of universality and self-applicability of Plato’s writing critique. Specific arguments of both positions are being scrutinized on the basis of a detailed analysis of Plato’s metaphorical assertions and, differently from recent developments in the Tübingen School towards text-reception theory, put in a broader context of linguistic materialism of a sign theory in Plato, Hegel and the historic philosophy of language.
