Sažetak
The Drava River had incised it bed across the fringes of the Pannonian Plain and has always represented a line of commmunication and exchange between the south-eastern Alpine circle and the Danube Basin. Located on this line is the region of Podravina. Its inclusion into this exchange network is documented by settlements finds from the last phase of the Late Bronze and the beginning of the Iron Age. In contrast, our current knowledge on the cemeteries is limited, but has recently been advanced by two graves discovered at Belišće, west of Osijek in Croatia.
