Sažetak
A dominant influence on time utilization of the flexible manufacturing system (FMS) and the effectiveness of production system at concurrent production of variable parts mix are enabled by the existing of alternative process plans. In this paper, the selection method of an optimal combination among numerous alternative process plans, which will ensure the minimum time load of flexible manufacturing system of known production characteristics at the concurrent production of certain group of parts in the given lot sizes is presented. Problem is mathematically modeled and solved using the genetic algorithm. Finally, the efficiency of procedure is shown on a concrete example.
