Sažetak
Szentgal type radiolarite was one of the most popular raw material in SE Europe during Neolithic period. However, its distribution south of river Drava is poorly understood. In the last few years, new research in terms of Croatian-Hungarian bilateral project were conducted and some nes information regardin the occurence of Szentgal radiolarites in present day Croatia were obtained. It seems thar, even thoug there were no practical need for Szentgal radiolarite, nor it was present in quantities that could indicate its utilitarial value, that some small quantities of this raw material were present on Croatian Neolithic sites. Its occurence can reflect significance of various raw materials on other levels than pure utilitarian.
