Sažetak
Hypoproteinemia is common disorder in the intensive care patients. It’s caused by both increased protein consumption and insufficient synthesis in the ICU patients. It is commonly accompanied with increased vascular permeability, generalized tissue swelling and coagulation dissarangement. In the patients with serious comorbidity, hypoproteinema may also impair pharmacokinetics of drugs. There are numerous coagulation markers and examinations that may be used in the assessment of coagulation function in the septic patients. In the light of new investigations, POC may be particularly important.
