Sažetak
Almost all the internal connections of the specific geo-traffic position of the Republic of Croatia pass through the area of the city of Zagreb which results in unfavourable consequences from the traffic, economic as well as safety aspect. Such connection is unsustainable in the long run and affects very unfavourably the economic, as well as social and political development and integration of the Pannonian and Adriatic Croatia. The south- eastern area of Central Croatia, especially the regions of Siak-Moslavina County via Kutina, Sisak, Petrinja and Glina, and the south- eastern area of Karlovac County provide complex traffic connections by road, rail and maritime- river traffic. These are significant connections in connecting the Danube Basin and the Adriatic. It may certainly be determined that these traffic connections are of essential significance for internal, as well as international connecting of the Republic of Croatia.
