Sažetak
Communication is an indispensable part of the human life and the basic instrument which serves to fulfil his needs. It is the instrument by which two or more people exchange information and mutually affect each other’s opinions and behaviours. The roots of the manipulation lie in the skilled and cunning communication, and on the other side in the aggressive nature of people, which is for the most part led by the instinctive urges for fulfilment of one’s own needs. Aggression is a part of people’s day-to-day lives and therefore there is a need to identify its primary causes. The term of manipulation and to reveal which manipulation tactics are manipulators using and enforcing, to make others do what they want them to do and put them into submission. Manipulator’s mission is to make others to behave the way that serves him, but in a subtle and shrewd way, so that his motives stay hidden. As this kind of behaviour is not socially acceptable, manipulator often hides his true agenda under the veil of motives that are socially more acceptable. Personality dispositions can successfully predict the manipulation tactics that certain personality type will most often employ. Research used case studies with the conducted survey about persuasion and also qustionary with aim how important is the control over the communication to them and to what extent they try to take advantage of others if they’re given the chance.
