Sažetak
The goal of this work was to find a treatment solution for vitroplast FR4, a material found in waste printed circuit boards. So, within this study the influence of addition of residual 2/0.04 mm class vitroplast generated by mechanical treatment of waste printed circuit boards on concrete properties such as compressive strength were investigated in laboratory conditions. By substitution of filer i.e. sand (F1, F2) in ratio of 5, 10, 15 and 20% with vitroplast in concrete mixture compressive strength decreased for 57.5, 84.5, 95.0 and 95.9%. The results of leaching test has shown that by incorporating of vitroplast in concrete mixture in 10% ratio, beside others, decrease eluation of arsenic and cadmium almost completely and regarding mercury for 70% which is below the limitations prescribed for the inert waste. The studied approach offers the possibility for environmental friendly recycling of printed circuit boards.
