Sažetak
A two-year investigation was conducted on Conference pear fruits originating from two locations in East Slavonia (Orlovača and Tovljač). The coefficient of determination for average fruit weight after harvest on both locations was very low in both years (0.01 to 0.08), and also after 80-day storage in normal atmosphere (0.01-0.03) for linear relationship. In spite of high degree of distribution, it is possible to show a small loss of fruit weight using regression of polynomial functions and derivations of the same becaouse the coefficient of determination id very high (0.82-0.99). Derivations of functions are dW/dt=1.125-0.001x and dW/dt=-0.282+0.008x for Orlovača in the first and the second year, respectively, and dW/dt=0.503+0.001x and dW/dt=0.651+0.001x for Tovljač in the first and the second year, respectively.
