Sažetak
There are 322 scholarly, professional and popular OA journals included in the portal of the Croatian Open Access (OA) journals HRCAK with available full-text articles. All Croatian OA journals are included in Google Scholar (GS), 52 are indexed in the Thomson Reuter’s Web of Science (WoS), and 134 in Elsevier’s Scopus. Such a good coverage of Croatian OA journals offers many possibilities for the comparison of different citation as well as other metrics. Various indicators at journal and article level have been analysed and compared for 45 HRCAK OA journals indexed in citation databases GS, Scopus and WoS databases. Different indicators based on citation analysis (Journal Impact Factor, Eigenfactor Score, SCImago Journal Rank and h-index), which is predominant in measuring impact, have been compared mutually as well as with other available data as are number of visits taken Web log files. Comparison has been done generally and within specific scientific areas. Detailed analysis is provided also at article level examining the relationship between number of citations from different resources and number of article downloads. The result shows that popularity of the journal article measured by the number of downloads doesn't correlate with the impact measured by the formal journal citations.
