Sažetak
Solar cooling system using evacuated tube solar collectors and LiBr - H2O absorption chiller for cooling of the restaurant and heating of consumption water has been built in Special hospital for medical rehabilitation in Crikvenica as a part of activities financed by European IPA ADRIACOLD project (Diffusion of Cooling and Refreshing Technologies using the Solar Energy Resource in the Adriatic Regions), as well as by national and local government. Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka has been appointed by to develop the design of the system. The paper describes problems that appeared during the preliminary design, dynamic system simulation, design approach and feasibility estimation of the system.
