Sažetak
This chapter analyses security challenges of states in the Western Balkans. Using the theoretical concept of small states, this chapter looks at risks to states in the region stemming from state weakness, corruption and organized crime, economic and social threats and terrorism. It finishes with brief overview of national and regional responses to security challenges.
