Sažetak
Leather was fatliquored with various types of fatliquor commonly used, three of them based on sperm oil, three on fish oil, and three on combinations of these natural oils. In each group, one fatliquor was sulphonated (aulphited), the second fatliquor was sulphated, and the third contaned an addition of fixed and non-fixed fats (and the moisture content) were determined. All the fatliquors were analyzed to determined the fat content and the amounts of sulphonated and sulphated groups, and the degree of sulphonation was also determined. The results should indicate the fixation capacity of the various types of fatliquor on the leather and also provide information on the fixation as a function of the degree of sulphonation and on the amount of the sulphited components.
