Sažetak
Nowadays, it is almost impossible to efficiently train air traffic controllers without the air traffic control simulators. A large number of simulators is being used, ranging from the simple PC based ones to the very sophisticated multi-medial simulation systems, which can simulate real situations (e.g. aerodrome control zone). Lately, simulation systems are being used to develop and analyze technological procedures in air traffic control. The above mentioned systems enable testing of the certain solutions in the simulated situations. In this paper an owerview of the existing simulation systems is given and the optimal variant for the air traffic controllers' training in the Republic of Croatia is suggested.
