Sažetak
ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast) is new technology that enables pilots and controllers more precise aircraft surveillance in the airspace and on the ground than ever before. FAA pointed out over 20 situations in which ADS-B can increase security and improve efficient use of air-space. Due to relatively low expenses of introducing the equipment on aircraft and minimal amount of needed infrastructure, this system is considered to be very convenient for aircraft surveillance in the near future.
