Sažetak
This paper analyzes the level of enterprises’ Internet use in selected European countries through selected Information and Communication Technology (ICT) variables and recent Eurostat official data. A special attention is given to Croatia, Slovenia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), all three being the South East European (SEE) and the Western Balkan countries. The performed correlation analysis has shown that the variables incorporating the Internet speed and the type of connection show statistically significant positive linear correlation with the web page adoption by enterprises, which confirmed the first research hypothesis. The profile diagrams have revealed that Slovenia and Croatia have higher ICT development levels than FYROM. The majority of used joining rules in the hierarchical cluster analyses placed Croatian and Slovenian enterprises in one, and the enterprises from FYROM in another cluster. Accordingly, the second research hypothesis was also accepted.
