Sažetak
Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is a significant adverse cutaneous reaction, most often provoked by drugs. The clinical hallmark is the presence of multiple disseminated sterile pustules on an erythematous background, associated with fever and a massive neutrophilia and sometimes eosinophilia Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS) also called „Drug hypersensitivity syndrome“ is a severe, unexpected reaction to a medicine, which affects several organ systems at the same time. It most commonly causes the combination of a high fever, a morbilliform skin rash and inflammation of one or more internal organs including the liver, kidneys, lungs and/or heart. It generally starts two to eight weeks after taking the responsible medicine. Diagnosing DRESS is challenging due to the diversity of cutaneous eruption and organs involved. AGEP and DRESS syndrome although very different share some simptoms like pustules , fever, eosinophilia The recognition of AGEP and DRESS is important, in order to avoid confusion with a systemic infection and consequently to avoid incorrect treatment
