Sažetak
The paper analyzes the role of roads and their impact on the design of the medieval cultural landscape. Vicinal traffic routes from the period of antiquity have been established, i.e. the emergence of new ones in the Middle Ages. Their positions are consequently important because of the impact they have had on shaping the medieval cultural landscape.
