Sažetak
Heart retransplantation is a considerable treatment option for some patients with graft failure. In the time of heart donor shortage it is of great importance to critically assess candidates for cardiac retransplantation. In this article we present a rare case of an adult patient who underwent successful urgent heart retransplantation due to severe toxic cardiomyopathy (anthracycline-induced) after posttransplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD) – diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
