Sažetak
A diagnostic real-time expert system, applied to an industrial chemical process is used as a test bed for a research on integration of symbolic and numeric computations in a unified framework. The presented algorithms reveal precise role and characteristics of synergism between statistical process control and expert system. The implementation status and run-time performances of the presented system is given.
