Sažetak
During the embryonic and fetal develoment of human ovary primordial germ cells migrate into the gonadal anlage and differentiate to oogonia, to oocites and to eggs (in the adult.The stratified celomic epithelium proliferates into gonadal mesenchyme and develops into primary sex cords. During the early stages of ovarian development three types of sex cords occur: primary sex cords, primordial sex cords nad folliculogenous sex cords. The structure and types of ovarian follicles are described.
